The goal of the Master’s Program is the provision of a high level of postgraduate education in Health Sciences and specifically the postgraduate specialization in the fields of Medical Informatics and Bioinformatics. The teaching includes both the theoretical approach in the field of information flow/analysis in biomedical systems/data and the application of information technologies in the context of the practical laboratory approach in bioinformatics and medical informatics.

    Aims of the Master’s Program:


    The specialization and the scientific training of graduates of Health Sciences and Informatics-Engineering with knowledge and skills that aim at the methodical study of scientific and technological issues of information analysis of biomedical systems/data.

    Lifelong learning, the provision and updating of knowledge of new subjects of the biomedical informatics to executives and staff of public and private bodies aiming at the effective treatment of scientific and technological problems, increasing productivity and adequately meeting the growing needs of the country and Europe.
    The promotion of biomedical science and its maximum possible application in technology, production, industry and management.
